1. Lesley Imgart

Lesley Imgart, based in Edinburgh, recently gained recognition by winning the 2024 Observer/Faber graphic short story prize for her work "Witch Way?". Her story humorously portrays a young witch navigating the challenges of education and career, reflecting Imgart's own experiences transitioning from art school to the professional world. Drawing inspiration from Terry Pratchett's Discworld series, Imgart's work resonates with readers through its relatable themes and engaging storytelling. 

2. Mattie Lubchansky
